Chidimma Adetshina has accepted an invitation to compete in this year’s Miss Universe Nigeria pageant, following her withdrawal from the Miss South Africa competition.
South Africans protested her participation in the Miss South Africa pageant after learning that her father was Nigerian.
Adetshina withdrew from the competition because to continuing Afrophobic assaults online. The Department of Home Affairs suspected fraud and identity theft during her birth registration process. Her mother is of Mozambiquean descent.
People are still talking about her after she announced her participation in the Miss Universe Nigeria event.
This morning “Miss Mozambique” was trending on X, with many users saying that she should enter the Miss Mozambique competition as well, presumably because her mother is Mozambican.
