This role is suitable for hybrid working with flexibility around days spent working with our MIS team in our office in Leeds and at home.
The Management Information Systems (MIS) Team is at the centre of the Conservatoire’s Professional Services Support functions. This is an exciting time to join the MIS team as they implement a new student records system that will support the HE function across the Luminate Education Group.
The MIS Systems Development & Reporting Manager will have experience of leading systems development and reports management and delivering high quality, accurate and timely reports. You will also have significant experience of producing, interpreting and working with complex data sets.
Educated to Degree level or equivalent, you will have appropriate experience of working in an MIS environment with advanced problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as effective communication and interpersonal skills and the resilience and flexibility to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
The ability to work using your own initiative is essential as is the ability to interpret policies and procedures; to inform, advise and act within guidelines.
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience of using Microsoft SQL, MS Reporting Services and PowerBI. Experience of working in a Higher Education environment would be advantageous as would previous experience of web development.
