This role is suitable for hybrid working with flexibility around days spent working with our MIS team in our office in Leeds and at home.

The Management Information Systems (MIS) Team is at the centre of the Conservatoire’s Professional Services Support functions. This is an exciting time to join the MIS team as they implement a new student records system that will support the HE function across the Luminate Education Group.

The Systems Support Officer is responsible for supporting the MIS team with data returns, data validation and the creation of reports on student data.

Educated to at least A Level standard or equivalent, you will have appropriate experience of working in an MIS environment and a good knowledge and understanding of the Higher Education sector. The ability to work using your own initiative is essential as are excellent interpersonal and numeric skills, and the ability to interpret policies and procedures; to inform, advise and act within guidelines.

The ideal candidate will have gained experience of using Microsoft SQL and will need to be able to demonstrate an excellent understanding of the SQL query language. Experience of Microsoft SQL Reporting, PowerApps and PowerBI would be advantageous as would previous experience of web development.
