Blxckie, an award-winning rapper, and his longterm partner, YouTube content creator Hermosa, have had their first child together.
The couple has been dating for approximately five years and has kept their relationship quiet, but not secret.
Hermosa posted a video on Instagram announcing the birth of their baby. The video shows pink baby gear and a loving young couple cradling their child of joy.
“A new chapter begins,” she captioned the post.
The YouTuber’s last post on her channel was nine months ago, and she hadn’t updated on Instagram since March. Her followers now understand why she’s been online.
After touring the United States in July, Blxckie, real name Sihle Sithole, released a new EP titled “See u soon”. The EP is issued by Def Jam Recordings.
In June, the rapper created the Kwasomnayama app, which provides an in-depth peek into both his personal and professional lives.
Blxckie and Hermosa have posted a new episode to the app, telling the narrative of how they welcomed their bundle of joy two weeks ago and met each other’s families.
Blxckie and his fiancée aren’t the only Mzansi hip hop artists who’ve grown their families this year. In July, rapper Shane Eagle and his fiancée Nicole Swartz welcomed their first child.
Rapper and actress Anele Zondo, commonly known as Ney The Bey, welcomed her daughter in July.
After announcing their pregnancy in July, A-Reece and his partner Rickelle Jones have yet to reveal whether their baby has arrived.
