Miss SA Natasha Joubert Encourages All to Contribute Meaningfully to Education

Natasha Joubert’s motto upon winning the title of Miss SA in 2023 was to prioritize her studies and her business.

Joubert was thrilled to contribute to Mandela Day by reading to the Grade Rs, painting with them, and giving a motivating speech to the students.

The theme for Mandela Day this year is “You still have the power to fight injustice and poverty.”

“I can speak from experience when I say that there is no greater feeling of fulfillment than being able to support someone in their pursuit of an education and a better life. I implore everyone to get engaged, especially corporates hoping to contribute meaningfully to education,” she remarked.

Additionally, she said that adopting a school will improve infrastructure, aid in curriculum development, and enable pupils to thrive by providing equipment purchases and other forms of support.

Joubert has promised to assist the Adopt-a-School Foundation (AASF) school in achieving a quality where students and instructors have the resources necessary to achieve the best educational outcomes, in conjunction with sponsor Anglo-Gold Ashanti.

Every year, AASF honors active citizenship, volunteers, and organizations that fight for concerns that are still important to South African society by holding Back to School for a Day on Mandela Day.

As a partner organization of the Cyril Ramaphosa Foundation, AASF is a nonprofit that assists underprivileged schools in developing and improving a teaching and learning environment that is conducive to learning through Whole School Development (WSD).

the WSD model, which prioritizes social welfare, education, infrastructure, and school leadership. The model makes sure that high-quality instruction is provided in the schools.
