Jacob Zuma, head of the MK Party, publicly criticized the Independent Electoral Commission.
Zuma had a press briefing in Sandton on June 16 to address the media and the public, as reported by SABC News. Zuma claimed in a statement that the IEC purposefully ignored facts presented by the party. Zuma stated that the party provided concrete information to the Commission regarding irregular voting during the 2024 general elections.
Zuma, a member of the African National Congress, has accused his party of hindering development. He stated that he would use his ANC membership to expose white monopoly capital agents.
