Police Intercept Toyota Hilux Transporting R5 Million Worth of Dagga

Police in North West apprehended two individuals for allegedly transporting R5 million worth of dagga in their Toyota Hilux.

The individuals were apprehended during a stop and search operation in Ikageng, Potchefstroom.

Brigadier Sabata Mokgwabone, a police spokesperson, said the accused, Asiphe Nomde, 32, and Mncedisi Mthunzini, 41, were freed on a warning after appearing in Potchefstroom Magistrates’ Court.

Mokgwabone stated that they are scheduled to appear in court again on November 26, 2024.
