Oskido Unveils The ‘Big Day Out’ Lifestyle Festival Launch

South African singer Oskido is holding his first lifestyle event to honor the pioneers of South African music.

The famous producer announced the “Big Day Out,” which is set to take place on November 30.

“The lifestyle festival is a spectacular celebration of South Africa’s vibrant music scene over the past three decades, rekindling the golden era of kwaito by showcasing performances by a stellar line-up of legendary artists and tracking the journey of South African House music from then to now,” said the multi-award-winning producer.

Although the festival takes place in November, Oskido believes it is a celebration of South African traditions and cultures that deserve respect all year.

“’Big Day Out’ is not just about the music, it’s about celebrating our rich culture, our colourful history, and the joy that comes with it – music and food.

“Together with my team, we are excited to bring together some of the greatest talents in the country for a day of pure nostalgia and vibrant energy,” Oskido said.

The event, which combines music, fashion, and food, will welcome at least 5000 visitors in the heart of Linksfield against the backdrop of Johannesburg’s vibrant atmosphere.

Festival-goers can expect to see their favorite kwaito stars as well as Amapiano artists who are now promoting the South African music scene on the international scale. Artists will be confirmed soon.
