Mandisi Dyantyis to Lead Audiences on a Spiritual Journey with ‘Intlambululo: Ukukhlambulula’ Concert

Mandisi Dyantyis, a renowned trumpeter, vocalist, and music director, will give a spiritual and cultural concert titled “Intlambululo: Ukukhlambulula”.

This event, which promises to be a unique blend of music, tradition, and spiritual regeneration, is scheduled for August 31 and September 1 at Johannesburg’s renowned Market Theatre.

“Intlambululo: Ukukhlambulula” translates to “Cleansing: To Cleanse Ourselves” and draws on a wide spectrum of South African cultural and traditional rituals.

The concert is intended to present participants with a profound experience of spiritual purification and renewal.

Traditionally, the idea of cleaning, which is essential to this ceremony, entails traveling to the beach to wash one’s face and dip one’s feet. This represents a symbolic release from past burdens and a new beginning in one’s path.

Known for his soul-stirring and emotionally charged concerts, the “NguMama” hitmaker will not only sing cherished pieces from his celebrated albums “Somandla” and “Cwaka,” but will also debut new music from his upcoming album, “Intlambululo.”

The event promises an immersive experience that will incorporate new music, traditional rituals, and communal engagement as participants embark on a spiritual rejuvenation journey.

Webtickets is now selling tickets to the live concert “Intlambululo: Ukukhlambulula”.
