Actress Linda Sebezo has responded to criticism after a TikTok user published a video of her doing her monthly shopping at Shoprite lately.
Unathi.hlongwane, a TikTok user, recently observed the “Isitha: The Enemy” actress shopping at the store.
She was observed and recorded at the Shoprite cashier while packing her things into a shopping trolley.

The TikTok user has faced criticism for releasing the video. Supporters noted that Sebezo has the freedom to purchase wherever she wants because she pays for it herself.
The South African Film and Television Award-winning actress was not pleased with the remarks.
In a recent TikTok post, she reminded her followers and detractors that she is a simple person who lives a simple life and does not feel obligated to spend a lot of money shopping at costly stores.
She stated that she lived within her means and does not want to ask for donations in the future. She also stated that individuals on social media bully artists, and it has now gone too far.
“We have children, and they hurt when they see such things,” says Sebezo.

Sebezo told critics that she is a humble person from Soweto who should be left alone.
Her admirers defended her, applauding her for remaining true to herself and not adhering to standards that would place undue pressure on her.
