Singer Kaylow Hospitalised After Car Accident

South African R&B artist and songwriter Kaylow, real name Kelello Segoana, has been hospitalized following a car accident.

Kaylow’s management confirmed the message on his Instagram page, thanking fans for their support.

“Kaylow, our beloved brother, is on the mend after a recent car accident. We’re grateful for the outpouring of love and support from his fans during this time.

“He’s surrounded by loved ones and making progress. We’ll share updates on his recovery as he continues to heal. Thank you for your continued support,” said the management.

Kaylow, who was born in Soweto, rose to prominence in the South African music scene thanks to his silky vocals and meaningful lyrics. In 2009, he released his first recordings, achieving fame in London with Darque’s “Difference”.

His own songs, such as the 2014 hit “The Soul Café” from his debut album “Reach Out,” which deals with themes of love and sensual grace, have been highly received, garnering him a loyal fanbase.

Kaylow’s single “24 Hours,” which was released in 2021, has also helped to establish his name in the music industry.

Kaylow was voted Best Male Vocalist at South Africa’s inaugural Dance Music Awards in 2017, following the release of his second album “War for Love”.
