The SARS tax investigation concerning the Shandi Trust’s overdue taxes was held in Umhlanga on July 11, 2024. The reality TV personality and trustees of the Shandi Trust, which owes over R38 million in taxes, attended the hearing.

Shaun Stylist of Lungza Management Consultants and her sister Nozipho Ngubo, representing the Lungazwile Family Trust, were also questioned.
The businesswoman’s estranged husband, Sbu Mpisane, was also in attendance, but her son, Andile Mpisane, did not pitch.
The Pietermaritzburg High Court appointed a curator for SARS to seize 13 expensive cars held by Shandi Trust.
