Hailey Bieber, Justin Bieber’s wife, is reportedly spending millions of dollars on excessive indulgences, including a second engagement ring worth $1.5 million (R27 million).
Hailey is a significant spender, with allegations that she spends tens of millions of dollars on private jets, including once flying to get her nails done at a specific manicurist.
Bieber sold the rights to his entire 291-song back catalogue to music investment business Hipgnosis Songs Capital in January 2023 for $200 million (R3696 million), and he will no longer get royalties on any tunes published before December 31, 2021.
Some insiders were stunned by the decision, which was usually viewed as a way for singers nearing the end of their careers to fund their lifestyles.
Bieber recently played at a pre-wedding celebration for Anant Ambani, the billionaire son of India’s richest man. He reportedly earned $10 million (R184 million) for the performance, but appeared nervous and tired. Questions arose around why he took time away from his pregnant wife to perform at the occasion.
In May, the pair renewed their wedding vows in Hawaii, where Hailey confirmed her pregnancy and showed off a new 18-carat oval-cut diamond engagement ring valued at $1.5 million (R27 million), in addition to her original 10-carat dazzler for $600,000 (R11,088 million).
Hailey’s impact on Bieber’s looks has led to a transition from a manicured to a scruffy style.
After their 2018 wedding, Bieber appeared to settle into a more easygoing lifestyle, citing Hailey’s love and the stability of their home. However, their partnership had difficulties, with Bieber suffering from acute depression throughout their first year of marriage.
In early 2024, rumors of marital issues reappeared, with Hailey’s father, Stephen Baldwin, asking the public to “pray” for the couple.
Hailey attempted to dispel the rumors, stating that accusations of marital problems were incorrect. However, in April, Justin tweeted a troubling selfie with tears pouring down his face, causing speculation about their relationship.
