Busta Rhymes Hits Joburg Clubs, Offers $5,000 Reward to Recover Lost iPhone

Busta Rhymes, an American rapper, had a great time in South Africa after performing at the DStv Delicious Festival. He went to bars in Sandton.

Busta Rhymes frequented high-end clubs Monarch and LIV Sandton. An iPhone was stolen while inside LIV, a venue known for its bottle service and high rollers.

A video of the “Touch It” hitmaker delivering an announcement from the DJ booth at LIV has gone viral. In the video, the rapper pleads with the lady to return her iPhone 12 and offers a $5000 (R86,638,50) prize for its return.

“Please bring it back. Let’s do the honourable thing. Let’s work within the African people and the way we are supposed to. Let’s do the right thing. That’s not nice,” he said.

“I want that iPhone 12, f**k you. I am not joking. I am smiling because I am happy. I am not happy about this lady’s pain,” he told the club goers.

It’s unknown whether the lady’s phone was returned to him or if they received the prize.

Busta Rhymes was photographed not only being a good Samaritan, but also enjoying himself in a different nightclub while listening to amapiano.

Busta Rhymes has returned to South Africa after a 10-year absence and has posted a video to celebrate.

“THE BLESSINGS DON’T STOP SO WE AIN’T NEVER GONNA STOP!! JOHANNESBURG, SOURH AFRICA THE DRAGON 🐉 IS BACK!! FIRST TIME IN 10YRS!! WE ARE GONNA SMASH THE @dstvdeliciousfestival TODAY!! I PROMISE YOU DO NOT WANNA MISS THIS!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥” he captioned the video.

Those who did see the dragon at the DStv Delicious Festival are still raving about his performance.
