Patrick Nyakuni, a businessman from Kajiado, has won R1,528,792 with SportPesa Mega Jackpot Bonuses.
After combining various bet combinations, the 29-year-old anticipated his way into the millions.
According to a statement from the betting company, Nyakuni joined SportPesa in 2016 and has since won his largest payout.
The father of two missed out on being the country’s largest prize winner.
“He correctly predicted 16 out of 17 games in one of the different bet selections he had placed,” read the statement.
Nyakuni used SportPesa, which lets players to play different jackpots within the Mega Jackpot, to create double combos.
The move enabled him to win bonuses in Mega Jackpots 15, 14, 13, and 12, where he had already gambled.
According to the firm, the 15 jackpot got him R235k, the 14 won him R222k, and the 13 totaled up to R138k
With 12 netting him R61k, the figure accumulated to R1.5 million overall.
“I have been placing combinations for a long time now and I like it because it gives me some sort of safety net to my bets,” explained Nyakuni.
During his debut in Nairobi’s Central Business District, an overjoyed Nyakuni celebrated his achievement with song and dance.
He became the betting company’s most recent millionaire, joining two previous winners. He stated that the funds would be utilized to expand his business and make some improvements at home.
