The RSL Literature Matters Awards 2023 are now accepting applications. The RSL Literature Matters Awards are designed to recognize and encourage literary quality and creativity. The Awards are granted to individual writers or other literary producers each year, following an open request for applications, to recognize their past achievements and provide financial support to begin a planned new piece of literature or literary endeavor.
Priority will be given to suggestions that will help connect with audiences or themes outside of literature’s traditional reach, and/or will help spark public conversation about why literature matters.” The project could be a piece of writing, a publication, an event, or a performance.
