Shortly after co-hosting the BET International Awards ceremony in Los Angeles, she went on to captivate more audience with her bubbly nature and outstanding presenting skills.

This comes less than a week after lighting up screens around the world as the co-host of the BET International Awards ceremony. Consequently, Nomzamo has once again dazzled American audiences when she hosted the prestigious Essence Music Festival this past weekend.

The Television personality hosted the centre stage at the prestigious ceremony in New Orleans on Friday. The festival is known as one of the world’s leading lifestyle events. It is also known as a party with a purpose which draws thousands of fans each year. The annual music festival is the largest event celebrating African-American culture and music in the United States.

Nomzamo said she was honoured to represent South Africa at the event and shared the exciting news on her Instagram ahead of the show.

“I am excited to not only be experiencing the Essence Music Festival in its home ground, New Orleans, but also to be working at this event with such a rich culture. Like always, I will be giving it a special African flair,” she said, ahead of the event.

This year’s event featured performances by US and world superstars Diana Ross, Mary J. Blige, Chance The Rapper, Solange and John Legend.

Nomzamo was kind enough to give us a sneak peek at what the experience was like for her.
