South Africa Breaches 200,000 Corona Virus Cases, With A Total of 3,310 Deaths And 97,848 Recoveries

South Africa is the most affected country, accounting for over 25 percent of total cases of Corona Virus (Covid-19) in Africa, with the Western Cape and Eastern Cape provinces reporting a high number of cases and deaths daily.

The WHO says more than half of the countries in the continent are experiencing community transmission of COVID-19 and in many cases, this is concentrated in capital cities, but cases are spreading into the provinces.

As at 07 July 2020, over 200,000 confirmed cases have been recorded.
