Social Media Users Roast Bonang for Spelling Error on Her New Drink

JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA ? MARCH 18: Bonang Matheba during the House of BNG BY BONANG launch at the Riboville Boutique Hotel, Waterfall Estate on March 18, 2019 in Johannesburg, South Africa. Media personality Bonang Matheba, known as Queen B, launched her own Methode Cap Classique (MCC) sparkling wine called House of Bonang, which she described as her passion that has been in the making for years. The error is a typo that spells the word “elegant” as “elegent.” It was picked up by a social media user who took to Twitter to post the blunder.

Many reacted in amusement and recalled that Bonang had the same spelling issues when she published her first book, From A to B. The errors in the book were so bad that it had to be pulled from some bookstores until a better version was released

Others were not too bothered by the spelling error, saying that spelling didn’t change the taste of the alcoholic drink.

We reported that the Queen B launched her MCC wine at a star-studded event in Johannesburg recently. One of the main highlights of the event was seeing the reunion of the iconic friendship between Bonang and Somizi.
