South African actress and radio personality, Phemelo Motene-Ngcobo revealed that she and her husband, Mthandeni Ngcobo have decided to split after 16 years of marriage on the Moja Love’s: Show Me Love show recently.
ZAlebs reported that Phemelo Motene made the announcement during her interview on the Show Me Love recently.
The report unfortunately didn’t give too many details or a reason about the split. However, Phemelo told the Sunday Sun that the divorce was amicable and both parties had no regrets about the breakdown of their marriage.
She did say that the children however, are having trouble adjusting to not being one family, living under one roof.
Phemelo is concentrating on her career though, she has made a remarkable comeback in the world of television.
The radio presenter has taken up the role of Adelaide Maake on Mzansi Magic’s The Queen.
Phemelo has also lent her talents and skills to radio as well. Radio listeners would have heard her on Radio 702. She is also the director at a media company called Nala Media.
She also starred in the iconic SABC1 soapie, Generations: The Legacy (formerly known as Generations), as Khensani Moroka. She also played a short role as Agnes Hlati in season 4 of SABC 1’s Home Affairs.
The Queen has welcomed Phemelo Motene who will be joining the cast as Thato’s mother and Jerry Maake’s sister, Adelaide Maake.
