Mamelodi Considering Sending Another Player On Loan

Five reasons why Sundowns will beat SuperSport again

Mamelodi Sundowns are thinking about sending one of their player out of favour midfielders on loan next season.

Sundowns as of now have a couple of their players turning out somewhere else for the rest of the 2017/18 season, players such as Yannick Zakri, Siyanda Zwane and Fares Hachi all on loan far from the Chloorkop-based club.

Now it seems that Sundowns are considering sending another out of favour player elsewhere in the new season, in order for him to acquire the much-needed game-time.

According to Siya sources, the Brazilians are looking at loaning out their Mamelodi-born midfielder, Lucky Mohomi, with sources indicating that a loan move to his previous owners, Free State Stars could be on the cards for the 26-year-old.

Mohomi joined up with the Brazilians during the July/August transfer window last year, although struggled to cement his spot in Head Coach Pitso Mosimane’s starting line-up.

This season, Mohomi made just two appearances for Sundowns all season, before being sidelined by a knee injury.

Sources have indicated that Head Coach Mosimane wants to hold on to the player’s services, however, will be considering sending him on loan elsewhere to get the needed game-time.

Now it remains to be seen where Mohomi’s destination will be next season.
