Khanyi Mbau Throws Brother Lasizwe Under The Bus For Lying

Khanyi Mbau is calling out her brother, YouTube star Lasizwe Dambuza, for lying about buying an apartment in Sandton
Lasizwe took to Instagram late last month to show off his new place.

The Touch HD presenter captioned the post: “Dear Mom, Your son! From Pimville Soweto to Sandton.” He can be seen crying in the video over his big move.

Metro FM’s DJ Fresh was so impressed by the social media star’s achievements that he invited him for an interview on the Fresh Breakfast Show.

During the interview Lasizwe talked about his new Sandton pad, saying that his mystery boyfriend ‘Marcus’ helped him get the place.
But big sister Khanyi seems to have had enough of the farce.

Speaking to Drum magazine, the Happiness is a Four-letter Word actress says she is less than impressed with her little brother’s lies.

“I‘m very upset at him for doing that. He lied – the apartment is a rental… He told Fresh he bought it and he went onto the breakfast show to speak about it and it’s not true,” she told the publication.

Khanyi added it’s not the first time the teenager has lied.

“It’s not the first time he is pulling a stunt like this and we have warned him but he will learn and eventually grow to know you can’t lie about something like this.”

While Khanyi was busy disciplining her brother in a very public way, Twitter users were having fun mocking him for his big fib. They started the “Lie Like Lasizwe” challenge, and the memes are hilarious.
Meanwhile, Lasizwe says Khanyi is overreacting, and suggested she is going through some stress.

“Marcus bought me the place, so technically I didn’t lie because it’s mine but it’s just not yet under my name,” he told Drum.

He is apparently waiting for ‘Marcus’ to change the ownership into his name. The 19-year-old then plans on throwing a big house-warming party.
