Grammy Awards 2020: See All The Highlights Over Here

The 62nd annual Grammy Awards recently took over Los Angeles.

Other big news of the night includes Billie Eilish who reigned supreme, winning five awards including best new artist, album of the year and song of the year for Bad Guy. It is reported that 18-year-old Eilish made history by being the youngest person to be nominated for, and to win, awards in all four general-field categories in the same time period.

Taking the stage to accept her award, she said, “I never thought this would happen in my whole life. I feel like I jump around at these things and I never take anything seriously, but I genuinely want to say that I’m so grateful and I’m honored to be here.”

It is further reported that Eilish grew up recording songs with her brother, Finneas O’Connell, in the bedroom of her parents’ house in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Highland Park. He was also up for six awards during the ceremony and eventually received the Grammy for best engineered album in the non-classical category.
