The ANC in Gauteng will today hold a meeting about the PPE tender awarded to a company owned by the presidential spokesperson’s husband.
Khusela Diko, Premier David Makhura, Health MEC Bandile Masuku and several others will discuss alleged tender irregularities.
Royal Bhaca Projects, a company owned by Diko’s husband was awarded the PPE contract.
But a report says the company was only established last year and has no track record of supplying PPE.
Amabaca King Madzikazi Thandisizwe Diko has denied any wrongdoing adding that the contract was cancelled.
He further states that no public funds were disbursed and that prices submitted by his company were within Treasury guidelines.
