Free State Stars Keen On Signing Namibian Midfielder

Recently delegated Nedbank Cup champions have recognized a Namibian midfielder as a transfer target for their team.

Straight from winning the esteemed trophy, Free State Stars are excited about adding Deon Hotto to coach Luc Eymael’s squad for next season.

The 27-year-old Namibian finished the season with Bloemfontein Celtic, where he has been one of the key players for coach Veselin Jelusic.

“Free State Stars are interested in Deon Hotto from Bloemfontein Celtic. Having worked with the player briefly, during his stint with Celtic, Luc Eymael likes the player and would be keen to reunite with him,” said the source.

Ea Lla Koto were crowned Nedbank Cup champions on Saturday evening, following their hard-fought 1-0 win over Maritzburg United in the final at the Cape Town Stadium.
