“We better give Obama props ’cause what we got in office now is a kamikaze that will probably cause a nuclear holocaust while the drama pops, and he waits for s— to quiet down, he’ll just gas his plane up and fly around till the bombing stops.” Eminem added, supposedly referring to Trump’s Twitter war of words with North Korean strongman Kim Jong-Un.
In an explosive 4.5 minute freestyle laced with anger, American rapper Eminem didn’t mince words in telling President Donald Trump how much he hates his administration.
The top-selling rapper of all time called Trump all sorts of names including a “racist grandpa,” warning fans not to support the US president.
The video which has since gone viral appeared at the BET Hip Hop Awards broadcast on Tuesday night. In the video, the rap superstar is seen with a hoodie over his head and an angry undertone in his voice. Eminem’s freestyle was done inside of a parking ramp as an entourage stood guard behind him.
He decried Trump as both incompetent and prejudiced, rapping – “Racism’s the only thing he’s fantastic for.”
The latest freestyle, which Eminem revealed on Twitter is called “The Storm.” In the video, rapper Eminem continued to criticise Trump and those who support him. In addition to calling the president “a 94-year-old racist grandpa, the rapper accused him of using state money to live in luxury with his family.
He also waded into the NFL national anthem protest saga and threw his support behind the player Colin Kaepernick, who inspired widespread protests that have extended outside of football and enraged Trump. Kaepernick who rose to national prominence when he refused to stand for the national anthem to protest police brutality acknowledged Eminem’s prowess.
And towards the end of the video, he gave his fans an ultimatum to choose whose side they are on.
“And any fan of mine who’s a supporter of his, I’m drawing in the sand a line, you’re either for or against, and if you can’t decide who you like more and you’re split on who you should stand beside, I’ll do it for it for you with this. F— you,” he said, raising his middle finger.
