Former rugby player Derick Hougaard and Afrikaans singer Nadine have sent the dating rumour mill into a frenzy
The pair have been seen exchanging cute messages on social media and have hinted that there could be something brewing between them.
During a recent interview on the Jacaranda FM breakfast show, host Rian van Heerden quizzed them about their rumoured relationship.
“We are not engaged. I have a couple of good friends, not just one. But for some reason this one friend attracted a lot of attention,” Nadine said.
Derick was a little more open and admitted that there are sparks between them
“There is definitely something, we have to work out what it is,” he said.

Derick and his ex-wife and singer, Karlien van Jaarsveld went through a rather messy divorce in 2015
The couple share twin sons together.
Karlien has since found love, is remarried and expecting her first child with former rugby player, Joe Breytenbach.
