Cassper Nyovest to Perform at a Christian Concert in Durban

The award-winning rapper will soon play at a Christian concert, having previously made headlines for preaching about the significance of a greater connection with God.

Recently, the artist, who became a hot issue after opening out about overcoming addictions and submitting to God, revealed on his social media profile that he will play at the “Miraculous Catch Youth Revival” in Durban.

Fakazanews reported that the star will attend the convention for the first time.

“I will be part of the conference, I’m very excited and very nervous but I hope y’all come out in your numbers you’re welcome and it’s all to give the glory to God, it’s not about me, it’s not an event to come and see Cassper Nyovest performing. I will be as vulnerable as you ever seen me, as honest as I can be and we will be giving glory to God.”

CFCI founder Apostle Dhlomo shared with HowSouth why they chose Cassper Nyovest to join them for their Youth Revival.

He said:

“Miraculous Catch is a revival conference hosted by CFCI’s Youth Ministry called MultiGen. This is a ministry that includes teens, students, young adults and young couples. The purpose of the revival conference is to bring hope and good news by telling people about the gospel of Jesus Christ. The revival aims to reach young people to know Jesus and walk in their God given purpose.

“Cassper has a story to tell, as he is someone in the entertainment industry which we know can be a very dark industry that can lead to a lot of emotional, mental and physical oppression.

“However Cassper has decided to surrender his life to Jesus and when he publicly shared his testimony it was able to reach a lot of people who would never hear about Jesus or those who wouldn’t go to church. So we’re allowing him to use his fame to glorify God.”

In the post he and the organisers of the concert shared on his Instagram page, he wrote:

” We are excited to have Cassper Nyovest joining us for our miraculous catch weekend.”
