Call For African Countries To Co-operate To Attract International Tourists

There has been a call for African countries to co-operate to attract international tourists to the continent. Key speakers at the premier tourism showcase, Indaba 2016, agreed that partnerships can lure more visitors.

The tourism Indaba showcases the continent’s versatile tourism product and 18 African countries are represented.
Every year it attracts more exhibitors and international buyers.

This year’s focus is on the small business sector- with 70 operators exhibiting from around the country. Authorities also aim to create a bridge between big and small businesses.

Africa is expected to more than double its tourist arrivals by 2030 to 130 million.
