Black Coffee Wins Big At Dance Music Awards

The Dance Music Awards came to an end last night with Black Coffee winning big.

South African dance music fans have been voting online to ensure their favorites win. The awards were a first of their kind.

Selected media, dance industry peers and the winners attended the closed ceremony in Boksburg, Ekhuruleni.

DMASA was announced to the media in Julu, and the public was invited to nominate their top 5 favorites.

The finalists were selected and put up against each other online in the past month. An independent auditing company tallied the online votes.

The Pioneers of House Award was added to the list of winners. To pay homage and give recognition to a legendary dance artist.

Black Coffee was the biggest winner, wqlking away with three awards. That of Best male DJ, Best producer and Remix of the year.
