That feeling you get when you wish you could slay your make up and you remember you got an oily skin which is a major enemy of make up.
here are some useful tips;
Having oily skin doesn’t mean you shouldn’t apply any makeup. You can apply and rock makeup even if your skin secretes oil by the bucket load. Here are 7 tips that will make your makeup last longer:
1. Face primer
Clean your face first. Then start with any oil-free and anti-shine primers before you apply any makeup. Using a primer makes your makeup stay on longer. Focus on areas prone to shine like the forehead, nose and chin.
2. Always use an eye shadow primer
Don’t make the mistake of using concealer on your eye lids before applying eye shadow. It is best to get an eye shadow primer before using eye shadow. The primer will absolve the excess oils your eye lids produce throughout the day.
3. Use blotting papers
No matter how much mattifying products you use, you will always get some shine at some point during the day. Gently press the blotting paper on the oily parts of your face and peel it away. This will ensure you don’t remove all your makeup.
4. Don’t use too much powder
Powder may seem like the answer to oil your face secretes. Too much powder will make your face produce more oil. Use a matte translucent powder that will shine on any skin. And use the powder on any just the areas prone to be shiny.
