Voting for the presidential, senate and Congress elections is about to close across the US. Both Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, the leaders of the two major parties, made their last pitches earlier today as the first ballots were cast. Donald Trump is leading against Hillary Clinton and needs to win in two more states to become the next US president.

Earlier in the day, Donald Trump leveled unsubstantiated allegations about a rigged election system. In an interview on Fox News, Trump said: “We’re going to see how things play out. Hopefully they’ll play out well and hopefully we won’t have to worry about it, meaning hopefully we’ll win. I want to see everything honest,” he told Fox News. The first in-person votes for the presidential elections were cast in the towns of Dixville, Hart’s Location and Millsfield in the state of New Hampshire just after midnight Tuesday. Voters in these towns are the first across the country to cast their ballots on Election Day. Under the state laws of New Hampshire, communities with fewer than 100 voters can get permission to open their polls at midnight and close them as soon as all registered voters have cast their ballots.
