A police wanted for questioning for the demise of a kindred police was discovered dead in his car on the N3 at Paradise Valley in KwaZulu-Natal on Friday.
KwaZulu-Natal police spokesman Thulani Zwane said police launched a search for the Pietermaritzburg-based warrant officer after a female police officer and another male were found dead at the woman’s home.
The policewoman‚ 24-year-old Constable Phumzile Ndunge‚ was stationed at the Plessislaer police station‚ the area in which she lived.
Zwane said the warrant officer‚ who can not be named yet‚ was discovered with a gunshot wound to his mouth.
“At 3pm police officers saw his car on the freeway and gave chase.. He stopped and when the officers got to his vehicle they found him with a gunshot wound in the mouth‚” Zwane said.
The man with her was identified as Snenkosi Molefe.
