Samsung hasn’t got much left in the bag to reveal at the Galaxy S9 and S9+ event on 25 February, after many a leak. Now new photos have revealed the handsets in all their glory and in varying colours.
Leakster king Evan Blass posted the photos on Twitter revealing both the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+. The S9+ is shown in Coral Blue, above, and shown off again in Lilac Purple along with the S9 in the same colour, below.
As previous rumours have suggested the Galaxy S9 comes with a single camera, purported to be 12–megapixels with an f/1.4 aperture. The Galaxy S9+ comes with a dual camera setup in an up and under configuration.
Both cameras are expected to offer a new 1,000 frames per second super slow motion video mode.
On the front of both the Galaxy S9 and S9+ appears to be several cameras and sensors crammed into the top bezel. This suggests there may be some new selfie modes and functions that arrive with the phones also.
Both handsets also feature rear-facing fingerprint sensors so anyone still holding out hope for in-screen fingerprint sensing, it’s time to let it go.
Overall the shell is similar to the S8 and S8+, but they are still gorgeous, so why not stick to a winning design? The insides should have plenty of upgrades, from those cameras to faster processing, quicker wireless charging, more RAM and plenty of battery life.
