Prophet Claims He Never Used Took Any Photograph In Heaven

The prophet who claimed to have gone to heaven and took selfies with Jesus now says it never happened.

Paseka Motsoeneng, also known as Prophet Mboro, this week rejected media reports about him ascending to heaven on Easter Sunday, and taking pictures there with his Samsung Galaxy S7.

His spokesman, Mr Nkuna, later tried to sell the pictures for R5000 a pop, promising to send it via WhatsApp.

But Motsoeneng, of the Incredible Happenings Ministries Church, reckons there’s no truth in the reports because he didn’t die yet, thus there was no way he could have gone through the pearly gates.

His claims came hours after the Commission for the Promotion and Protection of Cultural, Religious and Linguistic Communities (CRL Rights Commission) laid criminal charges against him on Tuesday.

Mboro reportedly said: “If I had pictures of heaven, my whole family and church would have seen it. I would never insult Jesus like that.”

He also said a Facebook page created in his name is a fake, and that he didn’t know Nkuna.

The CRL Rights Commission said Motsoeneng had failed to comply with a summons to hand over audited financial statements during their investigation into him and his church for commercialisation of religion.

The CRL reportedly said the heavenly selfies were blasphemous and brought Christianity into disrepute.

They also said when the church’s money was deposited into a personal account, the public had a right to know what happened to those funds.

But Motsoeneng said the CRL was supposed to protect him.

“I’m hated by the media but people love me in South Africa. Nothing will ever change their hearts,” he said.
