Postdoctoral Research Fellowships at University of Zululand in South Africa, 2017 – Apply for the Scholarship Programme!

The University of Zululand is delighted to offer Postdoctoral Research Fellowships starting from 1st July 2017 or soon thereafter. South African applicants are eligible to apply for this scholarship programme.

UNIZULU is a comprehensive University offering approximately 252 accredited degree, diploma and certificate courses across its Faculties of Arts; Education; Science and Agriculture; and Commerce, Administration and Law at the KwaDlangezwa and Richards Bay campuses. Popular courses include

Law, Education, Nursing Science, Agronomy, Hydrology, Social Work, Biochemistry, Microbiology and Sport Science.

Course Level: Fellowships are available to pursue Postdoctoral research programme.

Study Subject: Fellowships are awarded in any of university’s academic departments with suitable mentorship expertise.

Scholarship Award: Fellowships are valued at R240 000 p.a., tenable for a period of two years, starting from 1st July 2017 or soon thereafter.

Eligibility: The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for the scholarship:

Requirements:

  • A doctoral degree obtained on or after 2013
  • Applicants must be below the age of 40
  • Written and oral communication and presentation skills
  • Computer skills
  • An interest in conducting research as evidenced by some research outputs in journals and conference proceedings.

Nationality: South African applicants are eligible to apply for this scholarship programme.
