According to a report on Sowetanlive, the controversial Pastor Mboro was evicted from the building in which he worships in Roodekop, near Germiston, Ekurhuleni.
Provincial police spokesman Lieutenant Kay Makhubele is reported as saying that the owners of the building had got an eviction order.
Mboro, whose real name is Paseka Motsoeneng, allegedly hasn’t paid rent for the past three years and was supposed to get out by August last year.
Church members packed up things like bottles of water with Mboro’s picture on them, red carpets and cooking gear.
Pastor Mboro arrived at the scene as church members packed up the things, including bottles of water with Mboro’s picture on them, red carpets and cooking gear, from the building.
After dancing and smiling with them, Mboro then angrily explained to SunTeam that the cause of the whole problem was nothing but confusion.
He claimed that he paid R11 million to buy the building.
Police spokesman Kay Makhubela said that cops were escorting the sheriff to carry out the eviction order.
