The film, which stars the likes of Dineo Moeketsi, Thapelo Mokoena, Thando Thabethe and Boity Thulo, racked in over R1 million rand in its opening weekend and shows no sign of slowing down.
The film, now in it’s third week, has grossed over R3 million at local cinemas and has been placed within the top 10 films for its entire run so far, the film’s distributors announced in a statement this week.
The films producer, Ketiwe Ngcobo, says that he is thrilled with the reaction to the film.
“Audience support for Mrs Right Guy has been great, and is ongoing as word of mouth spreads,” he added.
