Itec SA has appointed Esti Kilian as general manager for marketing (strategy and implementation).
According to the company, Kilian is an expert marketing executive, leader and strategist, with particular skill in business-to-business, channel and business-to-consumer marketing.
“She has additional skills in strategic direction, operational management, creative direction, market share growth, communications, training and employee development,” says the firm.
Itec SA provides customised technology solutions that enable clients to simplify operations.
“I have a passion for helping companies tell their story to build a powerful professional brand,” says Kilian. “I excel at helping brands to develop their own unique identity and then communicate that effectively to diverse customer groups.”
Kilian’s key responsibilities in her new position will include brand development, upholding and ensuring full compliance of the company’s corporate identity, managing channel conferences and incentive programmes, leading external advertising campaigns, and budget management.
Kilian was previously general manager of marketing operations at Ricoh SA from 2012. Ricoh is an imaging and electronics company with headquarters in Tokyo. During her stay there, Kilian helped establish the Ricoh Women in IT organisation. She was also the youngest female executive committee member for the company.
Less than two years ago, Itec became a 100% South African-owned company following the purchase of all the issued shares in the Itec group by a consortium comprising the Itec management team, Investec Bank and Khulasande Capital, a black-owned and controlled private equity and investment vehicle.
Previously, 90% of Itec was owned by founder Jacques Duyver, who is based in the UK.
