As if anyone needed any more proof to permanently remove dear leader Motsoeneng, EWN’s got hold of some pretty damning evidence implicating Muthambi’s favourite in a R42 million fraud scandal.
Eyewitness News has got hold of documents allegedly pointing to a case of procurement fraud as the SABC. The documents implicate none other than Hlaudi Motsosneng, who was barred from working at the SABC in any capacity by the Western cape High Court late last week.
The newspaper reports that the documents contain information leaked by a whistleblower, pointing to an above-the-board tender being cancelled by then COO Motsoeneng and CFO James Aguma — now the acting CEO of the broadcaster — and instead given to a company called Vision View, at a grossly inflated cost.
Anyone who tried to expose the blatant abuse of power was immediately fired, as those seeking to see the deal through stood to gain their cut or R42 million. Tian olivier, the then-acting GE of risk government also tried exposing the deal, but his letter never reached the board and he too was fired.
