President Zuma’s most preferred wife Thobeka Madiba-Zuma has taken the lid off on how she soaks up negative media reports about her ‘hardworking husband’.
Thobeka, the prettiest and most charming of Zuma’s four wives said she has learnt not to listen to disturbing and negative publicity about Zuma or how he runs the government.
She linked the fiery hostility against most celebrities – including her husband to the handiwork of unpatriotic media agencies, who are hell-bent on ruining the country and defaming her husband.
Addressing hundreds of mourners at a packed Ethekwini Community Church, where mourners gathered for the funeral of renowned South African gospel singer Sfiso Ncwane, the first lady lashed out at the media for printing negative publicity about the deceased.
“It is my wish to see a patriotic media that will respect the dead. A lot has been said about Sfiso even negative things. That’s how we survive in this country. The hostility regardless of how the president works hard…That’s how I survive. I brush it off‚” she said.
Thobeka asked the widow of the gospel singer not to pay attention to media reports; adding that by so doing, she would save herself and family from many things. Thobeka Madiba-Zuma, a former bank clerk joined the league of Zuma’s wives after her traditional wedding with Zuma in 2010.
