  • Charcoal

Dip a clean and wet toothbrush in powdered charcoal and brush your teeth with it gently. Wait for two minutes and rinse your mouth very well.

  • Baking soda

Baking soda removes plaque and gives you a pearly white shine. Mix a quarter teaspoon of baking soda with a little toothpaste. Brush your teeth and rinse with warm water. You can also mix baking soda with lemon juice for effective results.

  • Orange peel

Rub orange peel over your teeth every night before going to sleep. The vitamin C and calcium in the orange peel will combat the microorganisms throughout the night.

  • Lemon

Lemon is best known for its bleaching properties. Mix together a few drops of lemon juice and quarter tablespoon of salt.

Apply the mixture on the stained teeth with a toothbrush and brush the paste vigorously over your teeth and gums. Leave it on for a few minutes and then rinse your mouth thoroughly with water.

  • Banana

Peel the skin off fresh banana. Rub the inside of the peel against your teeth until you get a coat of the peel over your teeth.

Brush the paste from the banana peel into your teeth with dry toothbrush using short circular motions. Afterwards, moisten toothbrush to brush off the paste/rinse.
